Our Facilities

  • New Directions for Men

    New Directions for Men is our largest facility with 119 program beds and 22 emergency overnight beds. The shelter also houses our main kitchen and operates our nightly Community Dinner program.

  • New Directions for Women

    New Directions for Women has 7 rooms and space for up to 22 single women. In addition to bedrooms and bathrooms, the facility includes three living areas, a kitchen, and outdoor recreation space.

  • New Directions for Families with Children

    New Directions for Families with Children has 9 rooms and can shelter up to 55 individuals or 11-17 families depending on size and make-up. Featuring a large living area, commercial kitchen, playroom, and playground areas, our facility was designed with kids in mind and can shelter any type of family with children under 18.

  • New Directions Walk-in Center

    The Walk-in Center provides services and basic needs to homeless who are not current clients of shelter, services include showers, laundry, hygiene products, and case management assistance.

  • Snug Harbor Transitional Apartments

    Clients of our Men’s and Women’s shelter who have completed the first phase of our Pathways program, secured a job, and have demonstrated self-sufficiency, may be eligible to move into one of our three transitional apartment units. Snug Harbor can house up to 12 clients.
